Guild Wars Snowman!
They did a good job with the Christmas effects. It seemed very festive when I logged in today and saw the snow falling and the lights and Christmas trees :)

Well, before in Warcraft there were orphans that followed you around. When you picked one up, you got a quest. Apparently, those stantas helpers are just simple pets without an associated quest.
